Well, it's a cocking rod. I had a choice between this and another one for a few dollars cheaper. I got this in a whole rod kit, and I chose this over the other kit because of the cocking rod. This one looks much nicer than the other one did. Upon purchase, you even have a choice of colors to get.
Conclusion:
It's a solid rod. I read that people think their customer service is no good. From the experience I've had, AIM has pretty good service. They speak english, and respond quickly most of the time.
