Review:
GOOD:
flat trajectory is so great you can shoot forever
it looks so cool
BAD:
plastic shroud is bent and a sight will never work
cost
couldent get a pinpoint hit if you tryed
if you bump it you have to re ajust
you have to set in your barrel unliek other barrel u screw in
stripping gun takes longer and you have to waste 200 rounds to reset the barrel
if you have old recivers forget aboit it you have to rig it it blows
people say its hard to clean if u get a break not true but yes a lil harder then normal
porting is stone aged
3 piece garbage
Conclusion:
get this if you starred in the movie commando or you ahve money to waste other than that get a J&J ceramic i didnt believe anyone then i got it set it perfect it worked great but i got shot with a ball on the tip of barrel and it nocked it out of alignment needless to say i had to spend 15 minutes to reset the gun and wasted half my paintballs
lol, I won't IM you, I'll tell you my opinion right here.
This review sucks. Badly. If your PLASTIC shroud is bent, it was either mis-formed or you heated it. That plastic doesn't bend: it breaks. Either way, the shroud has no effect on the barrel, and if it does, you should remove it and as Tippmann to send you a new one.
If you weren't such a moron, you would realize you just have to loosen the front screw to be able to screw the barrel in and out, then tighten it when you have it properly adjusted. If you study a PROPERLY alligned barrel, it shouldn't take you more than 2 tries to get the right direction. Having used mine for many years now, I can get it perfect every time I disassemble my gun. That, and it takes about 5 shots maximum to tell if the barrel is on correctly or not.
Yes, if you have an old gun, the newer barrels have an extra thread or something along those lines. All you have to do is buy an adapter. Duh.
3 piece garbage... I assume you mean the J&J, as my Flatline barrel is a one-piece barrel. 2 pieces if you have to get an adapter.
