Help & FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) on Paintball

Getting the paint out of your paintball clothing. What to wear while playing paint ball.

  Paintball FAQ

Q: Can I get the paint out of my clothing?
A: Yes, however you need to wash your clothes when you get home. If you leave them lying around on the floor for a few days you can pretty much guarantee that various spots on your clothing have permanently changed colors. While this is fine if it's the look you're going for, you just don't see it often in street clothes. To wash them just use the normal cycle and detergent amounts for heavy soil on that type of fabric. In the rare event that you still have paint, you should try immediately washing any painted items again (before using the dryer) but this time apply a stain removal stick. If that doesn't work, you either did something wrong or the paint had some issues. Either way since it is possible (though highly unlikely) that paint will stain, plus the fact that mud and grass are notoriously difficult to get out, plus the fact that any of your clothes may get torn during the course of normal play, I highly recommend only wearing clothes you don't mind losing (this goes for shoes too).
