The reason you can't see the Places to Buy links and other ads on pbreview.com is most likely due to a program on your computer blocking them.
While we can't give you specific instructions on how to stop this from happening, we can at least give you a general idea of what could be doing it.
It could be one of these things:
- An internet security program.
Some internet security programs, like Norton Internet Security for example, have "Banner Blocking" features.
- A banner/ad blocking program or internet browser plugin.
Places to Buy links are usually viewed as ads (which they are!) by banner/ad blocking programs. Disabling the program or browser plugin will allow you to see them.
- A pop-up ad blocking program.
That pop-up blocking program you are using could also be blocking inline ads like the Places to Buy links.
- A malicious spyware program.
A spyware program could be running on your computer without your knowledge and could be doing anything from recording you internet activity to modifying the content of websites you are viewing. Search on Download.com for "spyware" and look for programs like Ad-Aware and Spybot. Download and install one (or more) of them and see what they find on your computer.
Once you think you know what program could be doing this consult the manual or help documents for information on how to disable the "Banner Blocking" feature.
