I have played the majority of feilds in the Southern ontario region (Toronto, Ottawa and the surronding area)
Review:
Over the past 3 years I have played many different fields indoor and out. In my opinion this is the worst one in the region. It is quite amateur. The field was sparse of decent cover and bunkers, small shrubs and debris were located all over and were quite a nuisance and one side of the field held an advantage over as it had more cover. The ready area was quite dirty, even for an outside field. The staff, that consisted of only 1 or 2 people at most were less than knowledgeable and did not seem to care very much. Our group had three of our rental markers constantly getting air leaks and the markers would not re-cock quite often. In my opinion a player, new or experienced, would be better of taking their business to another field, this one is definitely not worth the time and agrivation.
This field has made many improvements over time, and continues to improve. Someone who goes to a field (especially one that is so new) and critiques it so harshly might perhaps need to revisit the field and see the improvements. The field is now using NEW rental markers and equipment, purchased within the year that is extremely reliable. If there are problems with the markers, the staff have the knowledge to repair them within a reasonable time frame. The field itself has also made improvements, such as new bunkers and a cleaner playing area.
