The people there are pretty nice, and they are good about keeping the games going. We played the first half of the day with gun hit = out. Second half was gun hit = not out. This was a little odd. I guess they wanted to make everyone happy at some point.
They have a nice selection of fields. 7 total. One of the woods fields we played on was kind of small and not very interesting. The other was on a hill and was better. The hyperball (read speedball) field was too thin and we played it too much.
The ref/owner had us playing on the hyperball field for all games except 2 during the day. This was kind of annoying although there weren't many people there so I can't say what happens on other days. It was 30 degrees and not many people want to play paintball in that weather. :)
Would I go back? Yes. The fields were pretty good, for the most part, and the people were nice. The refs were professional and kept the games going. Hopefully next time we'll get to play on more than just the speedball field. |
