Extreme paintball-great turnover time and good staff/games/experience, but more of a speedball, open cover place.
TAAG paintball-great big games/charity benefits and interesting terrain in the woods fields.
Review:
This field is defininitely not the best for your money.
First off, it is supposed to open at nine or ten but don't expect to play till eleven or so when the refs finally get themselves together. Also, turnover time sucks, so don't be surprised when you are waiting half an hour plus for a game to start. Reffing is pretty bad too. They're not blind, they just like to help their friends and let them wipe or coach them on the other teams position.
Also, expect the owner and his cronies to walk on later in the day and join the stronger team so they can blast the crap out of the others. I am not exaggerating: visit their website to see the field's tourney team that shoots up all the first timers with automatic fire. It's kind of immature, and doesn't make a good first impression when I bring my friends out to try paintball.
This is really the only good woods field in my area, and that's what hurts the most. They have a great piece of property and some awesome fields and events, but the price and the company is worth passing up. Unless this field cleans up their act and sets a better standard, then they will continue to see a drop in attendance and lost customers like me.
They get a 3 from me for the memories, but I can't say when I'll go back.
hey just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean that the field isn't good and refs don t do their jobs maybe its because you suck so next time just tell the ref you suck and maybe they will help you to. talk to you soon newbie.
I will explain for the second time that I have visited that field over ten times in my five years as a player, plus one scenario game. I have had a good experience, but there are still major issues that need to be resolved. I agree with others in that this field has the greatest potential in terms of location and topography...but (sometimes) incompetent reffing and (sometimes) blatant misuse of my time as a player are evident. BTW...a bad review is a signal that your paying customers are dissatisfied, not that they "suck". If you can't handle both good and bad reviews, then what good is an opinion? If you only want to hear praise, ask the first timers who have never been anywhere else, don't have a frame of reference, and therefore don't know what they're missing elsewhere. I wrote my review in hopes the ills would be corrected, because I like the field and the people associated with the establishment. That's all. I don't hate anyone...I want the best deal for my money.
hello mrjimmy I am sorry you have had some bad times at my paintball park.
my name is marty montgomery my phone# (559)683-7456 if you would like to make
any comments on making my field a better place to play.
I did not post the other comment about your complaints. I would rather use you comments to help make playing at my place a more pleasant experience.
