*Note: I saw a lot of bad reviews on this site and wondered why they existed. I hadn't been there in a while, so I went there yesterday. Here is what I found.*
Pros- Lots of woods, pretty big place, got scenerio-like fields(Castle, P.O.W., and Doge City), field store, about 15 different fields, can rent an Impulse, and can get lunch there. Also the speedball field has been redone.
Cons- When I went back this time, things have really changed for the worse. First, they split us all up by gun type. I didn't think this was too bad and let it go. I played with the high-techs all day. Our refs were HORRIBLE! I saw blind firing several times, overshooting, picking favorites. At Dodge City, I saw one guy who was asking for a paint check and the ref went to him and the guy who was supposed to be neutral was shot up. What was even worse was that the ref DID NOTHING ABOUT IT! The refs also let all their friends play on one team and let my friend and me be stuck with a bunch of little kids. The last thing to rant about was that they changed from Marballizer to Evil crap. Half of that stuff had dents.
Conclusion- My time there in the past was good, but all the refs that used to be there are gone. They have instead been replaced with very bad refs. When I go back is when that ref in the red will be working on building that new field so that he will be too busy to ref and maybe the good ones will be back. If you do go, just pray you don't get the ref that has blonde hair, a beard, and a red shirt. Neither that guy that still looks like a kid that goes with him.| Last edited on Sunday, December 28th, 2003 at 10:15 am PST |
