This is a good, fun field. Unfortunately it is ran poorly. The people who run the pro shop also play in the games. So if you get shot out early in the game, you must wait for the person who is running it to get shot out in order to access the snack or pro shop. The paranoid team also consistently stack the odds in there favor. They put all the newbies on one side, usually about 15, then all ten of them will play against you. On games like that it is no fun for any of the paying costumers, but they try to do that every game. the indoor bathrooms are nice. The prices are reasonable for the most part. There field fee is i think to high for only being able to play one field. I would say about ninety percent of the time there is no ref. Cheating i think is a problem there. The last time I was there the two people who ran the place were playing and almost got in a fist fight over one thought the other one wiped. The field is good, indoor bathrooms, that is about it.
I have been playing there for 3 months and have never seen any such thing ( and I am there every weekend). The guy that works the pro shop doesn't even play on the team so he is always there. The only time I see team Paranoid play as a team is when they have a game going with another team. You will usually catch a few of them in a non team game and they will always seem to be on opposite teams. What can you expect as far as reffing goes you cant have people everywhere so you either get someone in the pro shop and snack bar or you get a ref, most people can ref themselves and I don't know about you but I like being able to get food when Im hungry. It seems your bad review is on the team and that part of the review is false so you should really rethink the information that you post.
are u kiddin me man................as wadwerks said, the guy who works the shop stays in the shop all day>> (GREG, a good friend of mine) << and doesnt play on the team....................everyone thats on team paranoid are way too good of friends to fight with eachother and there isnt even ten players on team paranoid................two airballs feilds are playable at any time (and i see that they're finally workin on another hyperball field as well) and as far as reffing goes>> there are only two payed refs on the fields every weekend which is pretty good since most fields have no payed refs at all ..........................please rethink ur review
No field is perfect, but Paranoid Paintball offers a lot more in terms of good service and fair play. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but give me a break. A field that gets anything below a 6 is field with no air, no safety measures, no netting, no shade, no C02, no tech's, no merchandise, no bathrooms, and no PROFESSIONAL COURTESY. Joseph Bressler (Owner of Paranoid Paintball and Captain of Team Paranoid) is a person who holds customer service as a top priority. He works day and night to insure that customers have paint to buy at decent price and CO2 ready for the weekend. Its not just money for him, he really does enjoy the sport and hopes that paintball grows bigger in the future. Also realize that it takes a considerable amount of time to work out the kinks in any business, and as for Paranoid Paintball, it had its 1 year anniversary this March. As for cheating, it happens regardless of their are referees or not. A lot of it is on the player and the honesty policy. If your out there with a few players who think its ok to wipe, we can't stop them 100% of the time, especially if they are DETERMINED cheaters. As for team Paranoid stacking the teams, that is completely false. However, if you feel that you have been wronged, don't feel like you can't speak to us about the situation. Remember, this sport can only grow with your help. Maybe your experience for that day led you to have a bad perception of the field, please reconsider your feelings. Their is always someone in the shop for you to talk to. Joe is usually there on Sat and Sun, or you can leave your number for us to contact you.
Hey this field is awesome.I helped set up this field and I also used to run the pro shop. I also played on the field and traveled with the team on tourneys. Unfortunately I had to move to a hell hole called Tennessee. The field has on site certified air smiths, indoor bathrooms, proshop, food, shade, marker sales(which are at very reasonable prices), and air fills(co2 and compressed). If you ever get a chance to play there give it a try. The shop is open all days except for Wednesdays. The staff is very nice: thanks joe, mike, jerome, john, jace, tim (i think)and the ones who left: Matt, Kevin, Caitlin, and Brian Quinn, thats me. ALSO everyone else who, Im sure u r helping alot.
