Shockzone Paintball, I think it is better, you can BYOP and Sam's paint is cheaper.
Smakzone Paintball, Better for Rec-Ball purposes, and you can BYOP and the paint is cheaper also.
Review: Blodgett is a good place to play, just that Shockzone paintball has a better air-ball field ( a new 7-man Extreme SupAirBall field) and a nice barrel field also. Blodgett has a great pro-shop though, very nice, Shockzone also has a nice pro-shop, and Shockzone has a nice store, looks brand new, while blodgetts is a little old, but still in great condition. Blodgett has a built in Food place, very nice for the hungry :). Blodgett is an okay place to play, but if you're limited on money and want to play some paintball, go to Shockzone or Smakzone, depending on if you want tourney ball or rec-ball respectively.
All in All, Blodgett is a awesome place to play, but Shockzone is a better deal, and if Blodgett still has that SniperBall stuff (They call it paint) for $65 a case, you can buy a case of Nitroduck First Choice for $45. But, Blodgett may have chaged the paint since I was there last. Good shop, just that in my opinion, Shockzone Beats them out.
