First of all, this place is REALLY easy to get to...I'ts on Route 309 next to this RV Dealer.
I played Cobra Command yesterday and these are my thoughts...
When I first entered the front door, I was disaponted with their shotty selection of stuff to buy. But after I payed the $20 field fee and I got to play some of the fields, I was happy. I only played 2 of the outdoor fields due to rain. One field had those wooden round things and some huts, and the game was pretty fun. The second field i think was called "Crater". This field was crap. It consist of sticker bushes and hills, and thats it. It started to pour, so we played the indoor speed-ball field. After playing the speed-ball field for about 5 hours, I still wasn't bored of it. The field is made of sand, which makes it easier to dive, and when you run up on a barrier, you can slide a little to stop. The ref's were pretty nice, and knew their stuff. One game I played, these newb's kept blind firing around the rear stand-up's and the ref kicked them out. They let you chrono your gun alone, and they also help if your gun is messed up. Before we played the outdoor fields, I was chrono'd at 283 fps. After it rained and it was cold, I got liquid CO2 in my barell and I was shooting at 330fps! One of the guys helped me cut my spring down in order to shoot the 240fps indoor limit. I like the place bacuase it's for the local yokels, like me.
The only think I didn't like was this one guy with a Beard. He was annoying, and snobby. He acted like everyone was lower than him. Even Norm the owner didn't like him. But I only saw him a few times, so it wasn't that bad. If he was reffing, i would of unloaded a hopper in him just b/c he's a cock.
Here are the prices
Field Fee- $20
Paint $20 for 500
$80 for 2000
Air pass- $4 fill for 20 .0z
I give this place a 9 because everyone was cool, even the players, and the prices weren't bad. I just hated that bearded guy.....
