Review: Field Info:
Middle Tennessee Paintball is a great place to play and the best in the area by far. It is located about 30 minutes south of Franklin, TN in Spring Hill near the Saturn Plant. The field fee is an unbeatable $20 (plus the outrageous TN sales tax) on weekends and also includes all day air, (CO2 and HPA) and rental equipment if you need it. The field is bring your own paint, so that makes playing even cheaper. (If you live in the Franklin/Nashville area, I would suggest making a trip to Academy Sports and Outdoors and picking a 2000 case of Zap Rec Series paintballs for only $30) The field opens at 10AM on Saturday and Sunday, but i would suggest getting there early to avoid an air line and to get your equipment ready. Also, they just got some new summer hours and are now open on Wednesdays throughout the summer from 9AM until 5PM. Another great thing about these summer hours are that if you go up to the registering booth with a friend, they drop your field fee to $15 (plus tax). They don't even care if you know this person, just as long as you go up to the booth with another person.

The Fields:
Ahh, yes the great fields of MTP. They have a large hyperball field, 2 spool/speedball fields, 3 woods fields, and I believe they just added a brand new Air-Ball field. From what I hear, the airball field has taken the place of one of the older speedball/spool fields. All the fields are great and tons of fun to play on. They are well-designed and each side is very equal. It is easy to get around all the fields as the Airball and Speedball are all in a row with the Hyperball to the left of them and the woods fields behind and to the right of speedball. The Speedball fields are very spectator friendly and have netting along the spectator side. You can watch hyperball from one side, and still get a decent view of the game. In the middle of the entire complex is the registering/air booth. A few months ago, I went to the 2nd Annual East Egg hunt and nothing compares to how much fun it was. We played a regular day until 1PM and then the staff went out and hid easter eggs. Then they divided the huge crowd into 2 teams and we had a big game. Every field was open and it was GREAT! There were at least 75 people on each team and there were firefights all over the entire property. During the game if you found an easter egg, you had to hold onto it and then after the game was over each one gave you a prize ranging from pods and squeegees up to new guns! I would highly reccomend going to this game next year. I LOVE THIS FIELD!!!
10/10

The Staff:
The staff at MTP are incredible and you couldn't ask for better people. They will help with technical problems and anything else you might have. The refs are great and do an awesome job keeping play fair and most importantly SAFE. Safety is the number one thing at MTP and if you walk off the field without a barrel bag on, somebody will remind you right away to get one on. The owner, Bill is really nice and really knows how to run an awesome paintball field.
10/10

Other Info:
The minimum age to play at MTP is 10 years old and everybody 18 and under will need to have a waiver signed by their parents. (you can print one off their website) Another thing that you may want to know is that they only allow barrel bags. No barrel plugs. I would suggest buying one before you come ($4 for a JT one at Wal-Mart) or you have to rent one. They sometimes give you snacks like cookies, etc. but I wouldn't count on it every time, so bring some snacks and a lunch. I have always brought my lunch, but I think they will order pizza for you. (I'm not totally sure about that, so you may wanna call and make sure) If you want to see anything else about the field, check out the webstie at the top of this page. The website is very informative and has a forum where you can learn a lot about what is going on. MTP has many tournaments almost year-round including a Youth Series for kids 10-16. This is a great way to play in your first tournament and get some good tourney experience.

Hope this helps and I highly reccomend Middle Tennessee Paintball for a great day of fun that you will never forget.
