| Review: |
They just started up Thursday, Friday 'evening' games for summer. 12 bucks to get in. 3-7pm. Most of the fields are decent. Field 5 (I think) a woodsball field was a little ridiculous though. Way to overgrown with brush. The other fields have better lanes and you can actually see to the other side. The Friday crowd was a bit more laid back. With a little democracy in action, you can get a ref to take you to a hyperball or concept ball field. They just got a new X-ball field in which looks really nice. They definitely spent a few bucks on it.
Pros:
Decent price for admission $12 Thursday and Friday (through the end of August) otherwise $20 bucks on the weekend
$1/1000psi or 3 bucks for a 20oz CO2 fill
Most of the fields were good.
Bring you own paint
Friendly staff
Good parking/staging area with shade and benches
Pro/Con:
Got a new ref that could have been a little more aggressive. Got bonus balled three times (however he was new and was actually running across the field doing paint checks when called upon. Something you usually don't see) Would much rather have had a ref yelling at a player taking a few extra shots at people. I'd expect him to yell at me if I lit someone with a gun clearly over their head.
Cons:
Had a few little cheaters there. A few were running outside the tape and back in trying to flank people. They were shooting hot or had really really old paintballs. But you can't really hold that against the park.
Overall:
Get a few more refs that can/will take charge of a game and make it fair for all players and this place would be top notch.| Last edited on Monday, July 5th, 2004 at 10:15 pm PST |
