Duie06 Monday, July 19th, 2004 Period of Field Use: 1 year Last There: N/A Paintball Experience: 1 year Other Fields in the Area: Triangle Paintball - There's no comparison, Triangle is the worst and PB Central is quite good Review: Paintball Central is the best park that I've found in the Raleigh-Durham area. They have 4-6 fields, depending on how they configure it. They have a mounds field, airball, hyperball, X-Ball, and Speedball. The staff is also friendly and helpful. The Baltimore Trauma X-Ball team practices there as well as a number of other teams, which is nice because you can watch players better than yourself. On the weekends there are always a good number of walk-on players of all experience levels and they get in about 10-12 games per day. My only complaints are a lack of variety in the fields (though I'm fairly spoiled by having Challenge Park Extreme at home) and their lack of chronoing. It's usually not an issue but once someone was shooting around 350 fps and cut another guy's shirt/stomach open. Overall, though, I would highly recommend this field.
