Greene County Paintball is a 5 course field just south of pittsburgh All of the fields are well maintained with the exception of one unpopular "scenario" modeled course. Traffic to the field is fairly light, a few teams practice there. Paint is steep in general, but not for a field. A case of 2000 goes for around $70. The staff at the field is knowledgeable, friendly and have no problems shaking up games or moving obstacles around to make it interesting. Everytime I've been there, the air ball field has been in a different configuration. The refs are fair and extremely on the ball, some may feel they are taking their jobs a bit too seriously (i think it's a good thing). If there's a short coming for this field it would have to be it's lack of traffic. With the exceptions of the teams that practice there, and the occasional stragglers, there arent many new faces.
On the major plus side, if your a pb'er, your sick of all the outlandish prices at other fields and just want to play on a well maintained, professionally ref'd course, haul balls down to Waynesburg PA.
I recommend calling to make sure someone is actually going to be playing when you decide to come down tho. |
