Well, Total Eclipse is a field located about 15-20 drive south of Fredericksburg right off of Route 1. Its in the area of Thornburg, I dont know why they called it anywhere else. This field has only 3 fields on it which is kind of a drag on the weekends when the tournament teams come to practice and you can only use the 2 smaller fields. They have 2 airball fields a big one and a small one. The only thing bad about both airball fields is that their bunkers are not very tall so you pretty much have to crouch the whole game. Then, their woodsball fiels is fairly big, it is about the size of both of the airball fields combined. But, I would definately say that one side is more favored. Also, in the back of the woodsball field there is so much mud that one time I actually lost my shoe running to a bunker back there. I had to hop back over on one foot to pick it up. Total Eclipse Paintball used to be $10 for all day air, but now they only give you 2 fills for $10, and you have to pay $15 for all day air. I really only have a couple of things to say, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Why, would you up your price when you have done nothing to upgrade your fields!! They think that they are some awesome paintball field now even though it is as it has always been. Another rule that they have just instated is field paint only. I think this is very unfair seeing that they just upped their prices also. They are not even close to being a pro feild so I dont think that they should have done this. Also, I have noticed that if you are a less experienced player witha worse gun you will get lit up, because about 75% of the people who play there, have Autocokcers or above. So people like me, even when I upped my Piranha with all of the upgrade i could fit on it, I could still only get 1 person or less a game. Overall, I think that it is an advantage to me, since it is close, but I would much prefer to go to Soggie Bottom for the same price as this one.| Last edited on Wednesday, January 5th, 2005 at 3:40 pm PST |
