After playing at Dark Armies once I have decided that I will never go back. After receiving our equipment (from the less than excited to be there staff) we were hearded into a room full of bleachers for an update on rules and regulations. When I woke up half an hour had passed. After shaking off that groggy feeling my friends told me that all they said was "wear your goggles". Next we we got our paint (for an outrageous price) and proceeded to the playing field. While walking through a long hall to the field I smelled something very familiar, but what was it. All of the sudden it hit me. Someone on the staff was smoking an illegal, skunky, sweet smelling substance. After my gun became jamed I mentioned the smokey smell to one of the employees, and he let me use one of there guns at no extra charge. The field itself is very dark and small. Everything is covered in paint and you slide like crazy. The only fun part of the experience was when the staff helped us hunt down and shoot some kids that were camping the safe zone.
