MR Paintball - Dirty, dark, good staff, great pro-shop, good paint prices
CTFi - Dirty, dark, rude staff, over priced pro-shop, poor prices
Review:
This is the nicest feild I've had the chance to ball on. They had carpeted the floors from the beginning and now have added a layer of artificial turf over top of the carpet making it a very nice surface to play on. The field is thoroughly cleaned every Monday and they must do light cleaning every day.
The field is quite well lit and a very large area. The netting that surrounds the entire field makes it easy to watch games and there are plenty of tables set up for relaxing. They could maybe offer a bit more food wise besides drinks and snacks. The nearest place to eat is a 5 minute drive or so and not very convienient.
The pro-shop offers the basics of what you might need or have left at home and will want to pick up while you are there. The prices are reasonable on equipment and the staff can advise you fairly on what you are buying. As for paint prices they are average at 5˘ a ball and better prices offered if you are buying a case which will usually save you about $10.
My only real gripe with this place has nothing much to do with playing there. It's just that they could use lockers for for storing your gear when you are on the feild. Sometimes you have people who are there just to watch games that sit near your stuff. We all know it's not really possible to keep an eye on your things while you are playing and it would ease my mind knowing that my gear is under lock and key when I'm playing. I've never heard of any real problems with this at the feild but better safe than sorry I always say.
