I was very disappointed that a field with this much success has bad reffing. The refs at here are required to take a reffing class, but just because they take the class, doesn't mean they will be good refs. Anyone can make call a "hit" or tell you to put your barrel condom on, but it takes a good ref to make customers happy on the field. ref like a tourney I always say, even if it's just rec ball.
To be specific, I was playing a game called bahgdad, and was a rusher on the fort, along with about 30 newbies. The ref clearly stated all rules before the game, and said "all the rushers have to do is touch the fort and they win." In the game, not only did I TOUCH THE FORT (A WIN), but afterwards was lit up with a ridiculous amount of paint. Not only did the ref pull me, but allowed the overshooter to play on. To make things worse, I was bonus balled by someone that new clearly I was allready out. I argued to the "HEad REF," and said "Sorry, it's cause that ref is new!" Obviously, the "great managment" has rubbed off on even the head ref, and nothing was done about my situation!
