This field is not one of the best fields around, although when the weather outside is around 100 degrees, this place is very appealing, but I'd only recommend it if the weather is not tolerable. The field was average size, but there's only one(I haven't been to any other indoor fields so I don't know if this bad or ok.) The refs were bad, because when my dad caught some guy who wiped his paint off the ref was too wimpy to call him out! Half of them didn't even know whether the games were speed ball or regular! So they basically don't make bad calls, they just don't make any calls! They also put myself and 10 MEN with timmys and spyders vs. 20 KIDS with rentals for just the first game We won in like a min. Most of the games had unfair teams in which either one team would win quickly, or if the underdog team was lucky they'd last it down to 3 players (one of which was usually me). The prices there were outrageous! The paint quantities cost twice as much as their store counterparts! (twenty bucks for 200 balls compared to like $7!) And we had talked to a ref at Command Post (where you can bring your own paint) and he said they make plenty of money with just charging the entry fee and for rentals. All in all, don't come here unless Mother Nature forces you! (In which case you may just want to call the whole thing off, because you'll be saving enough money for two days of paintball at a regular field!)| Last edited on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005 at 2:45 pm PST |
