Review:
I have played at a lot of fields in my 20+years of playing this game that I love. If you are on a tight budget or love to play true woodsball then I have to say that GRP is the place to try. The field is full of folliage for hiding and gettting away from a bad sisuation. The person that runs it is not out to get rich he charges $1.00 admittance fee and charges fifteen cents an once for co2. He also does not require you to use field paint but if you do he has the cheapest prices that I have found next to a wholesale place I still get some of my supplies from. They play a game there that is called swoodsball and you have to see it to believe it. It is nice to see a field that is trying something new and all the players are having a good time. If you have the chance go check this place out you will enjoy yourself and not go broke doing it.
Dispute: Romulous has probably played very FEW fields in his '20+ year career' (read: 2 year abortion). In addition to knowing everything about paintball past, present and future, he claims that:
He was in Ia Drang back in '64 (which is puzzling, since the battle took place in Nov. '65)
He has killed VC at over 10,000 yards (about 5 times Hathcock's record as well as 5 times as far as our scopes could even see at the time) in his time with 'the snipers'
He and Budd Orr were good friends back when they played on Tippmann Effect together in 1985 (WTF?!?!?)
This 'man' talks about his heroics in the 'Nam more than anyone who was actually there (which is virtually never). He makes up stories about barbeques with 'The Tippmanns' as he so lovingly refers to them, hands out sniper wisdom like, "You want a 21 inch barrel if you want accuracy. I used to have a 40 inch barrel...", intimidates children on the field, tries unsuccessfully to intimidate adults, creeps out everyone, and has very few teeth. Absolutely NOTHING this man says or types should be taken seriously.
