I only play the 24 hour scenario games here, and I have played here about 8 times over the past 5 years. I have almost always had fun here, and usually the only thing that has made it a bad experience was the weather (raining, very cold, or extremely hot). Generally though, the weather has been great.
If I had any complaints, it is with the paint. They use Nelson paint, and although they claim that it is the best paint you can buy, and worth the price (sometimes around $90.00 to $110.00 per case of 2000), neither is true. Nelson is pretty crappy paint, and not worth the money they ask for it, but if you play here, you have no choice. The refs are o.k., if you can find one, but in these big 24 hour games, you are sometimes on your own.
The last thing is their website. It is terrible, and has not been updated for many months. Their webmaster should be fired.
You can't generalize a whole brand of paint as being crappy unless it's Brass Eagle or VL. Nelson Anarchy is some of the best paint money can buy (besides Zap Chronic). I agree though, they rip you off bad. I could buy Anarchy for like $45 a case. I would be pretty pissed if they made me pay $110 for a case, especially when they already charge you a good $50-$75 for scenario registration and air....
