I'm pretty new to paintball out here in california I played back in iowa and I didnt have to go through all this crap of paying $20 to use a crappy field I would go play down by the river with a group of people and it was cool! I went to this place in north hollywood Conquest Paintball. It was the worst place I have ever been to! the people were not friendly, it says paved road when you get there its dirt so your car will get dirty! overall my experience was nothing but negative at this field! I do not recommend going there!
Sorry to hear that. Ya the heat can get to you since it's summer time and well, in sunny southern california it's is a pain but kind of expected. I've never had a problem with the dust in the air but I wasn't there on the day you were, although I've been there about 10 times or more. LOL well, why did you slam the field because of the heat? I can understand the dust because that would suck but the heat actually isn't the field's fault, it's the summer heat. Well hope you go again because I go there and the people are always cool and the field's are great as well. The staff is great too.
As for the heat, I check the weather to see when it's cool during the summer and go on the days when it's cooler. I actually wear full camo gear so I worry about the heat. I don't go with a t-shirt and shorts like some people do.
Gatorade actually is needed because water can only do so much. At first I just drank water, but in the middle of the day like around 1-2 pm I get tired, REALLY tired to the point I feel like throwing up. Water didn't help and I thought I was just weak but then I started drinking gatorade and don't have that problem anymore. The last game of the day is as good as the first game without getting tired.
