Rcky Mtn - Closed
Dragonmans- No Refs there, the owner is mean, no HPA fills
Splatmasters- Gets old real quick
Battle Creek - Alot of scenario potential, but they dont keep the fields up. No Speedball,
except for a lowsy tire field. Hey they do feed you, I think they started
charging though. Also, ALOT of POISON IVY
Action Pursuit- Real cool indoors, expensive though
PBA - Masters series went downhill ALOT, good competition but it seems a
few teams are favored
Ive been playing for a while now, and all the fields in colorado have their pros and cons, except for Colorsplash. I was very impressed with the field setup when I first came here and seen the potential it had. Its only been three months that I've been playing there but in those three months I've seen this field expand. That is more than I can say for any field in Colorado. I played on the Scenario Field for the first time (I mostly play speedball) and had a blast. I spoke to the owners about some extra land they had, and guess what, they already have plans for some cool additions. They already have started renovating the land and its looking good.
Besides that, they have a hyperball field they just acquired and are renovating that. Its pretty cool from what it sounds like. Its right next to a go-kart track and video game center, so now I can take ALL my kids (only two) and have something to do for all of us when the wifeys away. I still have to check it out, but its off of Pueblo Blvd, they have it on their web site at:
www. colorsplashpaintball .com
The last three months I've attended their speedball tournaments and there is nothing to complain about. The refs do a really good job, one tourney they made a few mistakes, but that happens anywhere. That is what makes a tourney successful and fun, is a well organized field with good reffing. The 3-mans are fun but the 5-mans are really something to see. Some good competition out there too. Now that the seasons over I am looking forward to what they have in store. Speaking of that, the pro-shop they have is real nice. They had just about everything I needed to upgrade my DM4. They ordered the other stuff for me for less than the internet was offering. That was pretty sweet.
Thats pretty much all I have to say about that, just, if you get a chance definatley check it out it alot of fun, reasonable prices, and good people.
Oh yeah, not to mention, its always warm in Pueblo,so I can play there ALL YEAR round.

i have to agree with ballaforlife on this one fellas and chickenheads, it's a good place not just for ballers ,but for the whole family.. My friend went to play there to see how the place is kept, and customer service too. And all he had to say was "very good service and a friendly atmosphere" I still think good job pueblo, keep the ballas coming because you never know we all may meet in the NPPL sereies to represent our state somewhere, sometime and I will rep the coloradans next D-Day in oklahoma with the other coloradans fly our flag high with my marine flag too...
