Review: First off the reffing was was so poor that I would take psp refs over them (and everbody knows that psp refs suck). And it is so unsafe there when we first got there, people were just shooting there markers anywhere they wanted. Also there tournies are a joke they don't know anything about rules, this is just one of many thing they did wrong at a tourny (a team eliminated all the of the other team and they had three guys left, so one guy grabs the flag and goes all hangs it. And he has a hit on him that they see after he hangs the flag, so anybody that knows anything about reffing knows that that is a dirty hang and the other team gets the points. But no they just call him out and let one of the other two guys hang the flag after they called the game over when the flag was first hung.) And they also need to have better control over their tournies there were teams that were sore loosers and tried to start a fight with the other team because he go shot more that once. And another guy that got bunkered and tried to start a fight saying that the guy that bunkered him was using full-auto, when the guy that bunkered him was using a EGO w/ 1.06 programming so anybody that knows anything about paintball markers knows that EGO's can't shoot full-auto in ramp 1 settings. But the funny thing was that the guy that got bunkered swore that the marker was a BOB LONG TIMMY when he just had a close-up of it( he said he knows BOB LONG markers because he has been working on them for longer than that guy has been alive (well that guy that bunkered him is 30). So I guess that he has been working on BOB LONG markers, years before paintball even started) So if you want bad reffing and a very good chance of getting shot (could be in the eye) off of the field then by all means go loose a eye there. Just don't cry about being blind if you do go there since you were warned.

Yeah thats all true i've went there once and i'm never going back.

----Ok....I have changed my opinion--The problem with the first time i went there was the group of guys i went with and not the field! The field is ran pretty good for the resources they have

Dispute:
the review mas been misrepresented because the guy who wrote this was part of the team that got kicked out of the tourney we had because of a runaway gun and causing issues amongst the other teams... the minute they step onto the field they complained... no one was shooting around other people... everyone shot in the appropriate areas and were chrono'ed to around 280 fps... after that team left the tourney went on without a hitch and everyone had a good time...

FIRST OFF WHY DID IT TAKE YOU OVER 7 MONTHS TO POST THIS DISPUTE IF IT'S NOT TRUE? AND MY TEAM DIDN'T GET KICKED OUT, WE LEFT BECAUSE YOUR TOURNEY WASN'T WORTH GETTING IN A FIGHT OVER AND EVERY TEAM THERE WAS TRYING TO START A FIGHT WITH US BECAUSE WE KICKED THEIR @SS. AND WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT A RUNAWAY GUN? WE DIDN'T COMPLAIN AT ALL IT WAS ALL THE OTHER TEAMS INCLUDING YOURS THAT WAS CRYING AND COMPLAINING. THAT TIME PEOPLE MAY HAVE SHOT IN THE APPROPRIATE AREAS BUT NOT THE OTHER TIME I WAS THERE. BUT AS I SAID FIRST WHY DID IT TAKE YOU OVER 7 MONTHS TO POST THIS DISPUTE IF IT'S NOT TRUE?

You know darn well no one on our team had a run away gun. the jackass from the bluford team tried to say my ego was shooting full auto. he claimed to know everything about boblong guns so he knows my gun can shoot full auto. the idiot could not tell the difference between a timmy and my ego. My ego had the 1.06 board which is incapable of shooting full auto. until two weeks after your event there wasn't even an afterarket board availabe for egoes. You know you are lying about the runaway gun comment. As far as getting kicked out...ask the owner you moron. we left on our own because everytime we won a game that team would try to start a fight with us. the same game where I and another team mate double bunkered the guy claiming my gun was shooting full auto earlier in that game another team mate of mine shot a guy out but the guy took forever to even attempt to get off the field. When he finally stood up one of his team mates went into the bunker directly behind him at which point my team mate starting shooting at that guy so when the guy that had been shot finally stood up he stood up into my team mates line of fire and got hit. He then threw his gun down and ran to tackle my team mate but was broad sided by another team mate of mine that was much quicker than him. So, not only did we NOT start the fights we were being accused of shooting full auto with guns that were incapable of shooting full auto. plus the owner even offered to give us back our entry fee but we said to go ahead and keep it we just didn't feel like putting up with a bunch of soar loosing babies. We were literally invited to go there for that event and told that it would entail uncapped ramping. I kept asking if they really wanted to do that because I knew it could cause problems maybe even get someone hurt. They said they were doing uncapped because they had no way of telling what bps people were shooting. They should have just made it semi then. I knew they war zone had not had the reffing experience to handle a tournament of that nature and the bluford crackheads sure as hell did not help any. No one there but the guys in the yellow jersies and our team had any idea what ramping really was which is why I was accsued of shooting full auto. LOL, the moron that said I was hsooting full auto not only made the stupid comment and I quote "I've been working on boblong guns for years, I know what they can do and I know they can shoot full auto" he also said to me when I asked him if he knew what ramping was and I quote again "don't talk to me like i'm a baby I've been playing this game longer than you've been born." that's funny cause I'm older than that idiot.
Next time you want to dispute something you need to pick your fights a little better and get your fact straight. We were the only guys there that didn't whipe, play one, start fights, or accuse people of shooting full auto. this is because we know the game of paintball at the tournament level not just a bunch of woods ballers that THINK we know what's going on. I don't care how long you or anyone else have been playing. you can play woods ball for 40 years that does not mean you know what you need to know about tournament paintball. i've been to that field 2 times and both times all I see is a bunch of people walking around without barrel covers dry firing where they fell like it or shooting paint off in some random direct, taking there masks off on the field, leaving the field instead of going to the dead box when hit.
I know why we were invited. I was there for a 3 man something or other where my team won, therefore a bunch of you went out and bought some nice new fancy guns and some new fancy jersies and thought you were all a bunch of badass ballers now. whenyou found out that new guns and new jersies don't help over real practice and skill after we beat you guys you all got pissed and resorted to childish acts of throwing tantrums because you can't handle losing like men.
Don't come in here making up lies some kid already tried to do that on PBN and he now understands the truth, maybe this will set YOU straight also. grow up and stop lying. You wanna rematch I believe we can arrange that, but we will not play your field again and don't even ask us to go to bluford where the moron crew are in charge.

All you should have done was come in here and admit that things did not go so well. Some people on some teams had serious controll issues. You could have just said the event did not go so well due to war zone's inexperience and the fact you guys teamed up with some people (the bluford assclowns) that were not very professional. You could then have said that since then war zone has made strides in gaining experience as goos refs who enforce all safety rules and do not tolerate fighting of any kind. Saying these things would have kept you from looking like a big fool and further discredting war zone as a legtimate field by not lying about the situation. However, You have straight up lied about the entire event and what happened so now good luck trying to explain that to people who know you to be a liar now.

P.S. I'm sure the event went fine after we left cuz we weren't there whooping everyone's ass causing them to throw tantrums like a bunch of damn sissies.

all right first off i talked directly to the owner and what i said was righ tand second of all i have had at least 4 other people say they tried to get your comments off here im noit tryin to start any hostility i want the field to be able to pay for the airfield they are good people trying to do a good thing... we know the bluford guys suck ass... but if it was their fault in the first place why didnt you write that into your review rather than making out to be all of warzones fault... we recently played a tourney at bluford and they cheat their asses... so them griping abou tyou guys was totally off balance... i was going by heresay and im sorry.. but please dotn dog on warzone if it wasnt their fault... and as for the badass ballers comment... you want to play bring it i think you might be surprised about the home team... no hostility its just paintball... work together and dont try to slow the sport down

You didnt kick my TEAMS ass either... i was watchin form the sidelines how everything was goin... and everyone was bein babies about everything... you guys arent pro's so stop acting superior... that's the one thing i have to say bad about you guys... your attitudes towards everyone else is what helped fuel the fire... but i was looking at it from both angles... you guys most certainly did shoot up the fallen angels (it's not that hard)... but the fallen angels did not think that anyone was gonna use ramping... they came up with the mindset they were gonna kick everyones ass so we invited you guys to kick theirs... now i want all this arguing and stuff to just stop and just everyone get along... so later guys hope to play ya sometime

I never said we were superior, however, at the time I would say we were far superior in knowing the rules. In fact, I feel that someone from my team should have done the briefing for the captain's meeting. We had to point out sooo many things durring the meeting, I knew things were going to be screwed up but we gave the owner (who did the briefing) the beneifit of the doubt. The owner is a nice guy he was just way out of his element trying to host/ref a tournament that included ramping of any kind and making it an open event. The only complaint towards or about other teams were the fact they were all sore losers. Did we try to start a fight when we lost our first game of the day? no, we just knew we had our heads in our butts and shook it off and went on from there. I really would like to play you guys and see how much you've improved. If you beat us, hey fantastic. My cockiness goes towards all the teams that tried to start a fight/argument with us after we beat them. The only reason we didn't pretty much max out every game was the fact that just about every guy we shot we had to shoot again and again to get them off the field and by that time those certain people had shot one or two of our guys. In a tournamnet with experienced refs that sort of thing would not have happened. Us beating everyone didn't prove we were a superior team mainly just more experienced. No one there really worked as a team, they just ran off in random directions taking all sorts of hits and playing on. hopefully your team whichever one it was has learned how to work as a team and not play on after getting hit. This will gain respect from myself and the rest of my team. Just let me know when you would like to come to level x, you can bring your own paint and I can get you a deal on the field fee which is normally $15. Richard, the field manager is really good at hooking people/teams up when I've invited them there for practice.

we wont play on a level x field and we wont play on a warzone field... the only fair way to do this is to play on a neutral field... bridgeport is having an X-ball lite tourney coming up in july the field is opening up on that day... it's as neutral as it can get... modified psp rules.. 15 bps capped ramping... its BYOP also or you can buy it the day of... $200 entry... all that good stuff... it's 3-man but you can have five on the roster... does that sound good?.. reffing is being done by Hypnotiq... i dont know if you have heard of them or not... but sorry if warzone's first year wasnt up to par with your standards... it was a test year to view every aspect of the paintball industry... this year is totally different... better paint and everything... Warzone's team has takin control of how the fields are laid out, the reffing, and all safety precautions... please just delete the review so we can start fresh like nothing happened... there's no hard feelings between you and me... i respect you guys as players as do i every other person i play against/with... well i'd shake your hand if we were in person but it's the internet so this whole thing is behind me... how bout you?... later

as far as i'm concerned we are. I was just pretty pissed when people started lying as to why we left the event and that I am still being accused of shooting a full auto gun. Other than that i'm ok.
However, with the new information that I have just recieved, we will not be playing in any event that hypnotic is reffing. They are nice people but cannot ref worth the damn. last year's SPPL feeder event went horible because of their inferior reffing especially towards a friend's team and apparently it carried over to the empire field at the open. my friends were being called for major penalties on bunker rub and other stupid crap like that. My friends and hypnotic do not get along so they were screwed before they even got onto the field. I had no idea it was hypnotic that were the ones who reffed the sppl feeder and the empire field where people were getting screwed like that. So, I guess we're gonna have to find another event to play at.

sorry to hear abou that... i've always thought they did a real good job with their reffing... was it the young guys of the team or the older guys that were reffing?... we got screwed at IPL big time... they made us play towards the opening and we blew both the teams we played completely out of the water within 30-45seconds.... well then they decide to start callin us out when no one was shooting at us... i bunkered a guy who was closing his loader then took out their back center (his marker wasnt even working)... somehow someone hit me in the whole process and they put both of them back in... it sucked... we like playing SIPPL though... we're gonna start D2 PSP next year when we have the money... if you guys can find another place to play go ahead... other than that we are pretty much booked when we don't have a tourney we're running drills or reffing... just let us know ahead of time... well talk to you later man it's nice to know we're on the same page...
