My team played a tourney there this past weekend and I must say we were pretty impressed. Very nice, well kept fields. The proshop was small, but very well stocked. Prices seemed to be pretty good as well. Their tourney fields were awesome. They have hyperball and air ball. Our event was held on the air ball field only and it was a lot of fun. The staff was friendly and the refs did an excellent job. They also did what they could to clean up the field somewhat in between games to keep players from getting called out for paint on them that didn't come from hits. They kept the games running smoothly and there was very little downtown between games. All in all, an excellent job. I only had two real complaints. One was that they charged tax on the paint, which I had never seen done before. It wouldn't have been as big of a deal except they didn't have us pay until after the event and so it took a lot of teams by surprise. The only other issue was that the head ref was quite rude at times, even making a sarcastic comment about one of my players guns, saying that it wasn't working right because it was "overpriced". All in all though, an excellent experience. We are sending another squad up for another tourney in a couple of weeks. |
