mid cities- very good most of these players probly just heard the first guy say it sucks and copy him.
Alright first of all this place is located in LAKE worth texas (ever heard of it)? Yea, it is one of those towns where there water tower is rusted and the shopping centers are closed down (kinda like the one on whos eating gilbert grape). I have seen countless players get dehidrated because of the immense heat due to the fact you walk about a mile to get to a field, then you play two games without going a mile back down to load up on paint. Thats right you bring enough paint for 2 games. You get on one team and stay on it for the whole day. They dont even care if its fair or not and they dont pick them accordingly. Their woods field sucks because there are about 10 actual bunkers on the field other than 2 feet of brush or some tree cover they expect you to hide behind. I also got shot in the back 13 times (i counted the welps). I had my barrel plug in and i was walkiing off of a WOODS FEILD and they were still shooting me. Where were the refs? no where to be found. This field is bad. And i didnt get a word said to me by any of the refs. I am going again this next week to make sure it wasnt a fluke because so many people are saying it was good.
Wow, if "countless" people get dehydrated, (I am a regular at the field and have not seen this happen but to a few fat kids) how is that the field's fault? They should hydrate up like I would hope anybody would do before participating in a physical activity, especially in Texas. And "OH NO! Not enough paint for TWO games!" How much paint do you need? You act as if you have to truck it in. Only Ten bunkers... yeah right... go look at their web site. The refs are usually good at what they do and sit people out and even ban people for over shooting and cheating, but no one is perfect so im not going to say the bad reffing didnt happen. And yep, good ol' Lake Worth Texas, it would seem that the developers would have to be out of their minds to pick such a crap town to install a brand new theater, Home Depot, Lowes, Cotton Patch resteraunt, Applebee's, a Walmart Supercenter, and countless other multi-BILLION dollar businesses (a super target coming soon) and fast food places. It's such a dead zone, hick haven, country bumpkin town that they are having to widen the already four lane highway to eight lanes due to the overwhelming traffic from all the development. More than likely you are referring to the abandoned K-mart that is next to the field entrance, if you haven't been under a rock lately you would know of K-mart's demise. The subsequent ripple effect can indeed be seen in the surrounding eight or so shops located across the highway from the abandoned shopping center but that area is on the boarder between Lake Worth and the infamous North Side (which is a bad side of town) and makes up less than 5% of Lake Worth. I am sorry for this excursion outside of paintball but I feel I have a right to set the records straight on any account.
I know it has been almost a year since this bozo posted this but had to reply. First how inn the world does it matter if the field is located in the middle of an urban area or in the middle of the sahara desert ?
You can only put one field near any parking area, makes sense right, because each field is not a small thing itself. So you will have to walk no matter where you go.
As for playing 2 games then getting more paint, air, etc... this is probably the only way to get more games in during the day your there.
Even if there were only 10 bunkers on one of their woodsball fields, that would probably be too many, it is woodsball isn;t it? And so what if you got hit by 13 balls, the ref can't be everywhere at once, you prolly got hit by some newbs that didn't know better.
This guy who posted this review please disregard this review. This guy can suck my SMART PARTS 10" FREAK BARREL. This guy is sooooooooo on crack. The refs. are friendly and fair. Ive been playing there for 2yrs and going and there has only been one accident and that was one guy jumped into a bunker and broke his neck.... but ne ways.
