This field in my understanding is alright.
Lets start off with rental equipment. Its the Tippman pro/carbine there in relatively good shape, there have been no ball breaks for me when I tried it out, they use blaze paint the last time I was there, there free co2 refills were good and I give it a 8 for rental equipment. I curently use an A-5 so doesnt matter for me.
Staff. They are absolutely fanatical about saftey. The last time I played there 2 kids got booted because they took off there masks twice jsut to annoy the reffs. If you do that they will boot you. They really down to earth people, and quite helpful if you ask nicely. I give it a 9.
The players. Its a combination of pros and newbies. Some days you can find your the only good player on the field, and others you find intermediate teams that are actually playing tourneys are at the field. A field for pros and newbs alike.
The field. Its actually good, compared to some places down south and in Ontario. If you and your team start up ontop of the ridge then you already have the advantage of height and we all know that means you also have the advantage of range. If you start in the forest area down below you have two options rush them or setup ambushes and make them come to you and face them on even ground. The problem is if either side gets flanked from the rear depending if the player or players are good or newbs they have relatively just won the game. Its a combination of nice foilage, natural elevation, man made entrenchments, and the fire bse in the middle. For the field its an 8.
One game we had to play as defenders of the fire base, its hard but fun.
Overall its an 8. Its a good field but could be much better in terms of rental equipment, field conditions, and play time. |
