Review: I took a group of 4 newbies and 6 experienced players to PBA, worked it up for weeks before how I'd heard so much, how swell, and so on only to really be not just disappointed but pissed. $35 mandatory, your own gun or not, field paint only (the worst possible muck imaginable) I think it was $65 a case but you didn't get the case itself, just kitchen baggies with what they say is 500. I poured one such bag into less than two hoppers. With that 35 comes supposedly 300 rnds. I got a hopperful and 12.
Refs were undoubtedly great fun outside work but generally completely distracted or blown up on their own authority what with constantly yelling down anybody for anything. I was surprised I didn't see a case of beer between them.
The equipment was absolutely terrible. I HAVE bougtht markers out of the trunk of a car that were higher quality and better maintained. I got two shots with one trigger pull then no more at all, 4 of my people ran out of air in the first game, 2 more malfunctioned consistantly and we only had any time at all because several brought our own.
On the plus side they refunded me for one player who didn't show. And the fields themselves weren't half bad though they definately looked like junk off the road nailed to trees.

If you played with a private group, which you did; the price is $35 because you guys get your own ref, and you play with only the people you register. Each of you got 300 rounds, and they were put into seperate 100 round bags. the paint is $55 a case and it's actually good paint you probably were just unlucky, in which case you could have exchanged the paint. Ill admit it; the guns suck they have been there for probably 10 years if not more, but if you want to go buy your own gun then do it. either way i wasnt there a year ago, so maybe things have changed

Don't tell me what I saw, zach. We were NOT a private group, we rolled with the main crowd. We got crap paint, crap guns, and crap service. And if that wasn't enough they - or should I say you guys?- shorted us on that crap paint. Maybe you should read the rules for posting comments: "If you are associated with this field in any way, including, but not limited to, owner, shareholder, employee, ref, or a member of a field sponsored team, then you are not allowed to post a review on this field." Obviously you work at Paintball Adventures. I dont care what services or counts were supposed to be offered. They weren't. Taking paint from the factory packaging and then rebagging it is a common and time-tested method for shorting customers. You guys did. Maybe the place has improved but I'm not going to risk taking newbies there ever again.
