Played here earlier this month for a stag weekend I went to in Aberdeen and it was a joy. Some large game zones for the big teams and some tighter more action orientated action for the little teams. This company makes a big play on the pyrotechnics and in paintballing terms they certainly DO create Bedlam. There were 90 + people there on the day I went and each one of them had three pyros each which meant there were 90 paintballers using 270 plus pyrotechnics!! Bedlam indeed!! I particularly enjoyed the mass smoke effect as our team co-ordinated our attack in the, by now standard, village paintball game. I'm surprised passing aircraft didn't issue mayday signals! The staff here are definately the some of the more helpful I've come across and this seems to be a theme with this company as they were equally of a high standard at the Edinburgh venue I played at last year. They allowed us a bit of lee-way in terms of bending the rules for our particular enjoyment as we were kept separate from the other groups and weren't over fussy on the fact we let loose in the final game which was refreshing to see in the paintball world - I've often come across little hitlers. The paint they use is a well known brand name and is if high quality and this is reflected in the prices they charge on site, however, because I'd played with this company before I pre-bought my paint and got it at a substantial discount from the site prices. If you live in the Dundee or the Aberdeen area and you fancy some paintballing then I'd recommend you at leat try this site. There is a venue nearer to Aberdeen that I've heard good things about and I'm going to give it a try but unless they've got 100 acres of woodland like this site I'll probably be back here. |
