Review: This is a great field. The terrain is really nice and most of the players are great. If you want to play at a field with a trees this is the field for you. I enjoyed it a lot but the major complaint i have about the field is all the cheating. The Hornets are the home team there and they cheat constantly. I have seen guys whip in front of 10 people and the reff didn't do anything. Plus the owner of the field its self cheats. He even got kicked out of paintball tournaments because of cheating. The field set up is great! Prices are a bit harsh though. If you bring your own paint you got to pay an extra $15! on top of the 20$ entrance fee. The field is huge though and is a lot of fun to play at! The turn out is normally over a 100 players. If you don't let the all the cheating get under your skin this the field for you! The field set up itself is about a 9 but I am giving it a 7 because of all the cheating.
I been playing at the field for almost 7 years. If you want a great field with great refs and even better terrain go to Paintball Sams in Sacromento. I have played all over California and that field is the best!

Sorry - this statement is simply not true.
If you are going to slag someone elses reputation over the internet, you should at least name your sources for such information. Can you quote a publication, news/industry report, tournament log or ANY official source for this comment? Can you verify this statement in ANY way? Can you even name the Tournament or team in question?
No, you cant.
Do you have any direct knowledge of these alleged incidents at all?
No, you dont.
Untill you do, please stop spewing slanderous libel.
I was there with Bob "back in the day" and I can say with 100% certain direct personal knowledge that this rumor is FALSE. It DID NOT HAPPEN.
However, in those days, the paintball "scene" was alot smaller, and Bob DID make alot of enemies, who continue to talk total crap about him to this day. (To be fair though, he still talks alot of crap about them too.)
I dont like to flame, but it DEEPLY annoys me to hear my friends LIED about.

Come on now Guys,

You are just trying to tarnish his reputation (somethings never change). This field is ONE OF THE BEST fields in Northern California for good reason. Don't take my word for it. Look at the numbers of reviews on the California page, See how many reviews the field has? Notice it's in the TOP RANKING? Now compare that to how many positive Reviews they have to the Negative and you will see a pattern of PLEASED THANKFUL and RESPECTFUL paintball players. PBJ work's hard to bring you paintball as you know it. You may want to think about what good you bring to the sport.

Stuntman what team were you on with bob? What was the captains wife's name? Any real "Teammate" would know.
Yesterday 175 people Not 1 fight or complaint. IF YOU FEEL THIS WAY PLEASE REPORT ALL PROBLEMS AS THEY ARISE TO THE SIGN IN COUNTER!!!!!!!!!!!

This site is ment for reviews of the field you are looking for. Not plug's for paintball Sam's. If you knew anything about paintball you'd know Paintball Sam's is 35 acres of Bare, rugged,Mountainous and Hilly. Where the jungle is a flat manicured 65 acre LUSH Eucalyptus Grove with 6 Forts and Bunkers 3 speed ball courses and 2 Air-ball courses. The Best Prices anywhere, There is no comparison to the Jungle they just don't compete with the Jungles style.

See For Yourself :
Get I-Tune's for free of the web, Install it, click on Music Store, Click on Pod-casts, Search Paintballjungle, Check out the Paintball Jungle Battle Cam pod-cast. This will show you what BOB is all About. You don't accomplish what Bob has accomplished by Cheating and Talking bad about people.

Amen to that.

"Stuntman what team were you on with bob?"

I have been playing at the Jungle since they opened,(I am Hornet #37) and been playing with Bob & his boys even longer, since '87-'88 at least. I have not played as an active member of any of the old competion teams he was on (Ironmen, Team America, Constant Pursuit), but I did play with them on a rec ball basis all through the 80s & 90's, and Bobs oldest son Eli - the man behind the BattleCam - has been one of my closest friends for over 20 years. In fact, Bob is the man who first gave me the name "Stuntman".
Dont think for a second that I am critical of Bob or the Jungle (didnt you read the rest of the post? or am I just mis-understanding you?) as I consider myself to be a staunch ally to both, and PBJ has been my "home field" for years.
Let me put it this way - The Jungle is in Vallejo. I live in Santa Cruz. 102.2 miles from my door to the parking lot. And I make that drive as often as I can, because I feel that its worth the 2 hour drive & 10 bucks in gas to play there.
'Nuff said. 8-)
