Period of Field Use:
March 6th, 2006
Other Fields in the Area:
conders-a little better because its bigger
pros- great service, Scott the owner is very helpful, owner is registered smart parts dealer and tech, regulars are very helpful, nice field and the field is rearranged every once and a while so as not to get bored with the same layout, great paint food and drinks available,
cons- no bath rooms which isn't to much of a problem unless your a girl, you have to ask for food or drinks which is kind of awkward if your new, only one field so you have to wait for games,
conclusion- i am good friends with the owner and hes a great guy he is planning on building another field but he has yet to start on it the only real downside is its really small and kind of unknown there is anywhere from 10-40 people every Saturday so if your looking for some real action you will have to come on a tournament day also its only open on Saturdays so if your looking for some weekday action your out of luck
his phone number is 270-932-9519 if you would like to meet me just ask for Nick
Dispute: I have been out there before and Scott has not been that helpful, I have found MUCH better deals at other places then at S&S. I believe that the owner needs to work on his skills of bringing in people not pushing them away because he is "too busy" to get to people! I believe there are much better fields where the service is 10 times as better for much better price!
i've been to s&s one time and it will be the last. we went out there to buy a gun and we did. we paid $125.00 for the gun. when we got home and played with it it fell apart. later that week we saw the same gun in action pursuit for $53.00 now tell me that we did get screw!!!!!!!!!!! so i think that he aint helpful at all. and i hope he aint done that to anyone else. so watch out when you buy anything from s&s paintball.......
If you have had trouble with a gun, you should go to the field and tell the owner your problems first. It has been a while since Scott (the owner) has had a $125.00 marker on the wall. So I am assuming that you bought the gun a while ago and you have never been to see Scott about the problem, which he would have promptly corrected. So why have you decided to sign up and post months after your purchase?
As for the price issue, I am on the inside of the industry and I know that companies like National and Smart Parts have a tendency to change dealer costs overnight without warning. Also, they have price breaks for the large internet companies. So it is not all Scott's fault that the gun was higher priced. If you had asked Scott for help you would have seen the difference in ordering a gun online and from the dearler. Scott would have fixed the gun without any downtime or cost to you. Try to get that service from the companies on the net....
I invite you to come back to the field and let Scott handle the problem and try to make things up to you. I have been at the field since its start and I can say that I have never seen anyone "get the screw". Just give the owner the attempt to correct the problem before bashing them.
