Review:
This field has got some serious problems.
Cons:
The owner is a jerk, he overchargers for everything. The entry cost was not to bad, but the cost of paint was outrageous. After i bunkered some kid, he made me set my velocity to 150 fps, 120 below what the other people were shooting at.
Pros:
THe only good thing is that he takes safety very seriously, good for beginners, but intermediate and advanced players will not enjoy this field.
I have played for 18 years, and have seen the sport of paintball evolve as guns have improved and I appreciete a field that limits the amount of torture a player can inflict on another. Many of the younger players like this one, love to give out the pain but when it comes to taking it themselves there not so happy. Woodland Paintball Action has rules against shooting more than three times, cloose up shooting, and shooting players as they go off the field. There is no room for lax reffing where safety is concerned.
Dispute: This review is an outright lie, I have been on the field for the entire 18 years it has been open as the referee. Never has any player been sent on the field for any reason with a gun under the specified field speed of 270 feet per second. Most guns will not even operate at the speed (150 fps) DragunflyTyrant stated. Further more, he stated that the prices were high. No field, not one, in the states of Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, California, Nevada, or in Canada have prices of Paint lower than $10 per 500 balls, a field fee of $10 or less, and the rental of equipment of less than $10. I make it my business to check fields and field prices everywhere I go, and ask everyone I contact what prices they are charging. This Review is an outright false report.
