Frog Holler is a good place to paintball but the owner of the place it a real jerk. Also they seem desperate for money so they overpirce. The refs there are awesome but the owners son wines too much. they need to drop the price for that crappy karnage paint.
Frog Holler is a good place to play. As the owner being a jerk, I don't see it. When players have problems with thier markers I've seen him exchange them with a rental and repair the other marker if time allows. I've seen the same players loose two or three barrel plugs and nothing was said but be careful. Markers have been repaired with no charge. He is conserned with safety and players having fun. The prices have been the same as its been for a long time, I imagine the owners are eating the extra cost of getting things delivered and all other extra costs for the business. The owner has talked to the refs if a player reported games too slow in getting started. He has been talking to the manufacturer of the paint to get it back to the way it was last summer. The paint worked well and I had no problems with it all last summer. In short, I wish you could have seen the owners as I have.
C-YA on the field
Have you ever taken into consideration that there's more than meets the eye? I've never had a problem with the owner; he always goes out of his way to repair a gun or fix a problem. Even if there's a problem with the refs, all you'd have to do is take it to the owner and he'll get things sorted out. The paint at FHP hasn't ever seemed sub-par to me, though it's a little thicker and harder than usual... But I'm sure when the summer fill starts shipping, things will be better. And as for the "high prices..." Well, for one: the prices are normal, and two: he makes improvements all the time. Right now he's even working on a concession stand, and things like that aren't cheap...
Desperate for Money that why they are always makeing new field upgrades like the new snake trailer and soon the new lights will be up. you have no idea what your talking about. you tell me where there is in kansas with better prices better paint and that nice of a field.
