Period of Field Use:
Just once
Date There:

Paintball Experience:
More than 5 years
Other Fields in the Area:
Orlando Paintball, Great place
I have played many fields in the North East where I live
Directions to the Field:
The field is NOT in Orlando as stated on PBReview. It is through the downtrodden side of Florida. I became depressed just looking out the window on the drive there.
Review:
I was visiting friends in Orlando and wanted to play paintball, so I brought all my gear on the plane and shipped my tank separately.
Although woods and scenario is not my ideal, the prices at OCP looked attractive to me and two teenagers from the area that wanted to go with me.
OCP stated on their website and on the phone they were having a scenario game. There were no more than 30 people there; does anyone show up to play on regular days?
What I saw of the fields looked ok, but who was running the show turned me off.
I went into the shack to get information, having to ask the people behind the counter the same question two different ways to elicit the “you are stupid stare” and then was told to talk with someone else outside they didn’t know anything.
This made me feel anything but welcome and I helped me decided to not spend my money or time at this field. We got into the car and drove to Orlando Paintball, paid a little more but it was worth every dollar. Save the time and gas money by driving somewhere else first don’t even give this field a thought.
Unfortunately this player had a bad experience before even playing the course. This only points to the fact that business owners have to strive to keep everyone happy. "the customer is always right, etc."
However, after playing this course many times I have to disagree with this players comments. If this was a crappy course, I would not go back, however my experience have been the opposite. I have been greeted with plenty of information up front. Combine this with, cheap prices, no complaints about the paint quality, good woods and a fun urban town. Makes for a very good day of fun.
As far as the scenario, I had to miss that weekend, however, the MXS Camp Blanding game drew 700 fl players to Starke for the weekend. Furthermore, as a long time scenario player, the real problem is Summer Heat and fl players waiting till November & cool weather. I will say this, the previous player missed out if he thinks OP was more fun. lol
Dispute: This review is inaccurate. Field owner Tim is very helpful and makes every feel welcomed in his field this play most likely though he was some sort of big shot or something. If you want to pay 65+ for a case of 30 paint then be my guest go to Orlando paintball and have worthless refs that dont do anything but sit on the side lines and make fun of the newer people for not having 1000+ guns. At Orange county paintball is the perfect field for anybody. Oh and Orange county paintbasll sits on the Orlando/bithlo boarder my friend, please do not come on here writing bulls**t reviews becasue you were to good you everybody else. You would better fit the Epik and Orlando paintball anyway
He commented that OCP (Orange county Paintball) isn't even in orlando. He ended up going to a place named Orlando Paintball that isn't in orlando either. Chud!
