lets just say that desperate times call for desperate measures. if you gotta play, and your stuck where I am, there is no other choice. I play here every few months or so, just to keep me in the game. However, this field is not what I would define as a high class field.
the layout of the fields are actually pretty good. they have a village, a fort, auto junkyard with 2 buses, and a half wooded field.
now the bad
rental gear only... try getting a marker in Israel... really, try. its not gonna happen. I haven't used my personal gear in 2 years
i asked what speed their markers are set to and they told me about 215 fps ... its a bit cold for any kind of range or accuracy
reffing? whats that, one of the guys takes you out to the field your playing on, and hangs around in the dead zone. paint check? never heard of it.
If your in Haifa, and you wanna play, feel free, but you better hope you've got some friends that are honest and don't mind using poorly maintained tippys, go for it, in fact if your coming before June 07, let me know, i can find some ppl to play
EDIT: oops! wrong field, the field i was just talking about Isn't a part of Paintball Israel. its some other group.
Paintball Israel is in fact a good field. the staff is friendly and professional. they maintain safety rules and rentals are in fair condition. (custom 98's)
they have 2 fields, a village and an air-ball field. i play air-ball every weekend with some of the local guys. i do enjoy myself each time i go, and i have made some friends there,... however, since this is a review and i didn't give this place a "10" i need to explain why.
this particular field is newer than the other PB Israel locations and still under improvement, there isn't much variety to speak of, just the 2 fields. there are maintenance issues with the netting and air-ball bunkers, a few of them seem to deflate over the course of a few games. the village field seems to have a few extremely wide open areas with no cover but i have been told that they are working on this.
the field brand paint isn't all that great and has a bit of cost to it, mostly because its imported, semi-low grade atmosphere and tempest. but the cost has taught me good paint management so i only use about one bag a day instead of a case like back home.
much respect to the guys at PB Israel, their good people

Spoken about new "Congress Center field", and I can see a review of "Masarik" field.
The guy who wrote this review little confused.
The Haifa Branch of paintball israel is totaly new and has 2 fields:
1. D-Day field (the hill with houses, tranches and mortairs.
2. 10 men Speedball field with NPS Bunkers
sorry about that mark, i wrote this before i knew about your field. which by the way is wicked awesome. extremly professional and friendly. I love it.
