Review: For newbies to the sport who are trying to get serious about the sport Next Paintball is a good place to go. The field is said to change regularly to make it have a different gameplay. They have Military Monday's (dimed lighting and smoke machine 7pm-closing) and 1/2 price Tuesday/Wednesday's which really helps your budget at this field.
costs are very pricy as they updated their pricing.

on normal days these are the prices for Gun owners

100 rounds of paint (gun owners) = $17.25 (tax included)
Co2 12ounce and under= $4.60
Co2 16 ounce or higher= $6.90
entrance fee (3 hours of play)= 11.50
bring your own paint= $28. 75 (Renters/ Owners cost)
Renting
the prices are: $23 entrance for an hour $11.50
for extra paintballs are more expensive i think
the only good thing about renting is suposibly free refills for co2
the cost for equipment is fairly good like 2 pods for $2.30

*if a gun owner bring a fully covered helmet. my friend got smoked in the head pretty bad and stoped playing after words* renting the masks for nextpaint ball is not a good idea because it only protects up to eyebrow level. If your serious about the sport get a full helmet you'll be glad you did!

The staff are IFY depending if its a long day or very busy. most of them are actually quite nice. unlike certin fields they dont cut your springs if your gun is over 250fps they tell you to go to the proshop and get it lowered. Safety is big with them. you cant leave with your gun if it doesnt have a barrel sock on it untill the end of your time.

rounds usually last 10 minutes depending on skill level of players dont bother booking the field some of the renters are amusing and skillful. one tried crawling like a navy seal even though he was like 4 feet tall lol!! and one did a roll to evade geting shot. the refs are actually good at start and slowly get sluggish on calls. usually you would have to call your self out if the ball splaters on you or not. at any time for what ever reason you can call your self out such as running out of C02 or what ever type of gas you use on the field so dont worry.

At this field it pays off to be a gun owner due to the prices but if you think you can take a short cut with BYOP think again you have to use white/yellow paint and tell your buddies to bring their own paint because you would only be allowed to play with others that brought their own paint. they also give you a colour coated band on your arm to tell whither or not you are a gun owner (green) renter, or BYOP (orange). they also record the time when your time is up on the bands.

conclusion: Pricy but fun if you came with a few friends and skillful renters are in the arena. if there are good people there be prepared to use a lot of paint.

I give next paintball a 8 because of the expensive costs and the masks.
