If you know where Kennywood is in West Mifflin, then make a left (or right depending what side you're on) at the mcdonalds. go all the way up the hill and make a right. then keep going untill you get to a gas station and then make a right. keep going straight until you see the sign and you're there. It's just a little bit further when you go past the church. |

Paintball X-treme is a very good paintball park especially for most beginners. First, the safety is stressed a lot. they always make sure your mask is on and your barrel plug is in. They also chronograph everyone's gun so it doesn't hurt as bad when you get shot. The prices are good too, especially on Sunday for open play. It's only $7 to get in from 12pm-6pm unless you buy any amount of paint, then you don't have to pay to get in. Now to the fields: they have 4 fields. The first one is Speedball. It is on a slant. Both sides have equal advantage. The bunkers are mounds and log fences. They also have a bridge in the middle which is very good cover and shot opportunities. The second field is Woodsball. It is also on a slant. It is 2 1/2 acres with a big fort in the middle. The bottom team starts off closer to the fort, but the top team as a height advantage so it's pretty equal. The bunkers are mounds, log fences, and trees. The third field is Moundsball. Its mostly flat, but there's a slight slant. The team that starts out on the far end gets advantage of a long snake that can get you to the other side if you're sneaky enough. The closer team can go up a slight hill and have sort of a height advantage. In the middle is a big black tube that you can go in but if you get caught doing it then you'll probably get surrounded and shot. The bunkers are mounds and trees. The fourth and final field is a regular airball field like the ones you see on TV. It's kind of small but really fun. It's not always set up but when it is it's awesome and they change the set up everytime. The bunkers are air bunkers. The staff and refs are really nice. They don't sell food but they have water, gatorade and pop(soda). So if you're ever in Pittsburgh or from here but have never been there, go check it out. | Last edited on Thursday, August 24th, 2006 at 5:16 pm PST |
