Review: I have played at many local fields, and upon the opening of Valley's Edge, I no longer need to travel to those other fields. The owner, Ryan, is a really nice guy, who knows a ton about paintball. He used to play professionally, so he has experience in tourneys. This is really helpful because he was always on the field helping out players by giving them pointers. He even followed around one kid and personally trained him. I had some problems with my Impulse, and he helped me out every time. My mask kept fogging so he let me use a different mask for free. Overall, customer service is the best I have experienced at any field. The prices are good. $10 field fee, $7 all day air. Right now he is running a special if you buy a case you get free field fee. The cases are good paint as well. He carries chronic, cryptic, spank, and ink'd. The prices range from $45-$55. Valley's Edge is opened Saturday and Sunday, but you can rent the field upon request through the weekdays. Right now there is only 2 fields, but they are both set up nicely. There is a spool field and a pipe field. I loved both fields because they are speedball. There is also plans for an airball field in the very near future. The only downfall to the fields is that since they are brand new, there tends to be rocks and not a lot of grass yet. The rocks didn't bother me because I still slid into all bunkers. I hit a small rock once but it didn't hurt. The fields are big enough for 5 and maybe 7 man games. The nice thing is that the proshop is about 10 feet from the fields so you don't have to travel a mile to get aired up(like Cabin Creek). Valley's Edge doesn't have any woodsball fields, but I only play speedball, so that didn't bother me. This field serves as a great training place for aspiring tournament players or newcomers to speedball. The friendly, laid back atmosphere is something that really helps me feel comfortable. There are beverages for sale. Water is a one dollar, while pop is .50 cents. The safety is amazing, because all the fields have netting around them that is about 15 feet high. Overall, this field impressed me for just opening. It has a ton of potential to become a speedball HOT spot. I highly recommend players of all skill levels to try Valley's Edge, because it won't disappoint. I will give it a 9 for now, but with the addition of an airball field, I would definately give it a 10.
