This is the second year of operation for this field. The owner, Rich is an avid player and is constantly upgrading and improving.
Last year there was one X-ball, one woods and a small fort field. This year he has 2 woods fields, on on a hill, a spool field, airball, and a huge, upgraded fort field with 2 small towers, and custom built wooden bunkers. They are standard airball shapes, cans, doritos and aztecs, plus some unusual shapes, all made of wood, looking like little log cabins. He is currently building a Western town, about half done with the first phase (6 buildings, one street), and wants to set up a permanent NPPL designed standard field using wooden bunkers.
He has 4500 HPA and CO2, and sells some gear at the field. The manager, Joe is a great guy. He'll fix your marker(small repairs), give you an O-ring, and if you have a problem, he'll do what he has to to make it right. Last weekend he had a problem filling my 3.5oz CO2 for my Phantom, so he gave me a box of 25 12gms free.
All day air is $10, or $1 per 1K, $4CO2, (he charges me $1 for the 3.5Oz tank)
$10 will get you a full rental setup, including a hopper of paint and a 3K air fill
Paint is FPO, Origin Signature for $65 a case
$5 field fee for all day play
There are lots of regulars, all nice guys, helpful to new players. They will let you try out a marker, help fix yours, whatever. Lots of walk ons and renters who are made to feel welcome as well.
Refs are good, they try to have 2 or 3 for larger games, but with 5 fields and growing, you can usually stick to smaller games if you like.
Overall, it's a great place to play and have fun. The regulars aren't hotshots interested in winning above all, they are just there to have fun. |
