I thought the 3man tournament on 7-23-2006 was one of the best I've ever attended. There were a few minor glitches and snags, but I've never been to a tournament that didn't have at least a few. Overall I thought the staff handled everything that came up both quickly and professionally and I was impressed. As for the referees, I thought they did a fantastic job as well. I've never seen refs so willing to get painted just to check someone. They did their jobs with enthusiasm. Yes, there was some confusion on some of the calls near the end of the tournament, but they resolved them quickly, impressive considering they had been standing in the 90 degree heat all day. I would recommend any tournaments at this field, and based on their field setup, I would recommend this field for casual play as well.
Im just wondering if this is the Juggernaut team that everyone thought was ramping, because personally at first I thought you were ramping then later on after watching you guys for a while I decided that you could just walk that Egos trigger like none other!!! But I did think that considering you had more points then all novice teams after the round robin that you should have been in the novice bracket, but whatever.
Yes, I'm on that Juggernaut team that everyone THOUGHT was ramping, and yes, my teammate can walk that Ego's trigger like a madman. We did not take first place for the day, Rat Pack got first and Extreme Rapid got second, we came in 3rd. If, as your name implies, you were TsunamiX, I just want to say we thought you guys were really good too. Oh, and since this is a review site....I still think Frederic Paintball is a great field to play at.
