The speedball field... I think called Fury... has only been open for three months and probably the reason the games havent turned over quickly is due to the fact that there arent a lot of people playing out at the speedball field yet. Maybe six months from now more people will know that there is a new speedball park and start coming. But I have seen a lot of speedball parks to include OES, IRP, Combat Zone, and this one if by far the nicest.... anyway I wish SAS luck getting it going but I am sure its not going to be easy...I know that SAS also has a couple great teams playing at the park, I think the fields home team just took 1st and 3rd at the last OES event. I would rate this field a 7 with all the potential of being a 10.

Thank you for your positive comments and YES our SAS All Star team took 1st and 3rd at the FSSS! SAS All Stars rock!
Its true that the speedball field has been slow getting started, its going to take a lot of energy to develop this field but we are committed to it and its just a matter of time.
Officially the City has taken over operations of the park and are in the process of biding it out. The park goes out for bid every couple of years but we have asked that the City starts the process earlier because the rent that the City is looking to collect is unreasonable. Without raising prices, keeping the park a field paint only park which we dont like, etc there is no way to achieve the Citys requirements. We believe that players shouldn't have to pay a premium to play out at a City owned park and it is our desire to make paintball cheaper to play so that we can all enjoy paintball as a sport.
Splat Action Sports is active in the biding process and dedicated to park and the paintball industry. Over the last eight months we have made significant improvements and capital investments into the park, more then any vendor before us has.
Hundreds of people have shown their support and appreciate, in fact just this week we had over 40 people from six different teams join us to show there support at the last City Advisory meeting.

This is true that SAS has invested money ino the speedball side....but the woodsball side has been neglected where 2 of the major structures are unsafe to go inside. When it was mentioned that they have invested more than any other vendor before them , the fact is that the only other vendor had NO control over the field and was just that...a VENDOR for 2 whole years. Their contract consisted of selling paint and air and misc supplies. PERIOD! When SAS took over, they bid to MANAGE the park at a very high rent per month. While doing this, they had all the say so on what and how things go at that park...with no city intervention. It seems we have to keep clarifying this every so often, and frankly I am getting tired of it. Get the facts straight!
