Coastal paintball is a drive away, but it's the closest to this field i've been to.
Directions to the Field:
Don't ask me! lol.
Review:
I took a jolly trip down to tabor city to play in the CBPL finals, and arrived to a dead field. The field's werent up, the chrony wasent out, and the place was a wreck. As soon as i got out of the truck, a wave of smelly-hot air washed over me.
This field is by FAR the WORST smelling field i have EVER played at. It literally smelled like raw sewage everywhere. It was the most vile smell. One guy on the Gotcha Boys 5man squad actually vomited one time as he was entering the field over one of the sludge pools. On top of that, the refs had no hand-held crony's. Velocity cheating was all over the place. I have a scar on my jawline to proove that. :pissed:
The refs themselves were nice guys tho. I will give them that. If you were nice to them, they were nice back. Pretty standard. And the staff in the proshop was nice also. Some of the girls helped get my bloody nasty jaw wound patched up
For this tournament, they had only one, count em, ONE field up, and it was a crappy x-ball field. This is a ACTS tourny, and now all of a sudden we're playing a run-down NXL field. Greaaaat. :grumpy:
The smell was my biggest gripe. If the envoirnment is not pleasant, then it's not a field for me. People wise, it was nice, but not the actual fields, which matter alot to me.
Sorry adventure. Yall are good folks, but your field is not.
4/10

That smell is probably left over from the CFOA a few weeks before hand. I know the smell you're talking about, and I've been there many times. The only time I've smelt it was at the CFOA. I figured it was a combination of trash, thousands of smelly players, and the portapotties. It is a farm, so maybe it's manure and fertilizer? I dunno...
