Other Fields in the Area:
hypersports is a great field with cheaper paint. has a half woodsball half urban field. best pro shop i've seen yet. also disaster sports field is great. with several woodsball and xball fields. plus they let you use yor own paint.
First time playing there was cool. But since i have seen better and bigger fields to play on also with better pro shops. The refs never stepped on the field! haven't seen that happen anywhere else. 5 minute breaks between games turned into 15-20 minute breaks. The indoor fields were ok but that paint covered sawdust on the floor gets annoying. Paint is everywhere, doesn't look like they clean it up very much. The outdoor fields were covered in paint and very slippery, and the inflatables were never full. The pro shop was dark and dirty and the bathrooms were disgusting. A few soda machines and one hotdog vendor across the street were all the was to eat or drink.

Dispute: I don't understand this review from many aspects. Let me explain below.
I know some of the staff. I go to this facility at least twice a week. Just look at the number of reviews. Something must be up with that. This place gets alot of attention because it deserves it! But being the great comes with a lot of enemies and criticism. As far as the indoor fields, they pressure wash every week. I know this cause I have seen this, where they close down the indoor fields for a couple of hours and switch play to the outdoor fields for that time. Their paintballs are the only ones that are scented citrus flavor so the smell in the indoors is kind of cool. I have not seen that anywhere else. I have traveled to many different fields in the States.
They have a variety of six good sized fields, which is more than I can say for others. At least there are real bathrooms and not Port-o-lets. As far at the proshop, the tech staff know their stuff, and the shop is high tech! There is a picture on the website, so I don't understand his point.
As far as the hot foods vendor, I don't see why complain about this? It's there, it's a bonus. A lot of people love it when they get hungry and they even have a snack and machines for sodas. Again, most paintball fields don't!!!!... P.S. You forgot to mention the FREE Pizza!
As far as the Refs walking on the field, I asked them and the reason why is because they are not there for cheating, this is not a tournament, there are no prizes to win. They are there for giving instructions, coordinating the games, and watching out for safety... Much like a pool life guard. Rec-ball is based on having some self respect and honor. On a side note, you should know that if you play paintball even in tournaments, the refs will not eliminate cheating. If someone wants to cheat, they will find a way to cheat! In fact, the pro's practice cheating, and in some cases, even the refs are corrupt, due to an allegiance that you don't know of. Of course if anyone is caught, there are consequences. So cheating in paintball is justified in a sense, in tournaments, because it is part of the game, in rec-ball though it is cheap and low. If I catch someone cheating after I shoot them, I just give them a little more pain. Besides, they can't feel that proud of themselves with hollow victories.
All in all, this is an awesome facility, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! It is unique and one of a kind.
the refs may not be there for cheating but what if someone gets hit in the hopper and doesnt know it, i ref at a different field and there is at least two refs on field at the same time
plus, looking for safety on the sidelines would be like checking for it on security cameras, you can see someone being unsafe but cant do a thing about it,...vent over.
