Splat Paintball in Boise (I haven't played this field)
This field is relatively new, though the owners are very enthusiastic about making everyone's paintball experience a good one. There is a lot of variety in the terrain ranging from rather heavily wooded areas to open fields. In addition to great rec play areas, they also have two pretty good speedball fields, though I've only played on the pipe field (so far).
Admittedly a lot is still in development, as the field isn't that old. The really great thing about this field is that the owners are open to suggestions and do their best to develop the field in such a way that it encourages a good time.
Right now games are run pretty much every weekend, with an occasional scenario game being run by another company (see Aktion Zone review in Idaho). Ontario Paintball Challenge is open to other interested parties running scenarios and I think this is what really makes the field great. The owners aren't concerned with screwing you out of every penny they can get, they want everyone to have fun and do everything they can to make sure that happens.
I play at this field every Saturday because were sponsored by the field the owner is a new owner but has played paintball all his life. These reviews are old the field is really nice now and we got two hperball fields sup air forest and castle. Believe me action zone won't be there long because the owner hate them and he should because action zone suck alot of that's Kurt's fault but whatever. The new owner is also a icd and smart parts dealer. come out to play any time but call in first at this number: 541-741-0509
