Review: I went for a 1 day scenario game. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have A good sized woods field, it can easily handle a 200 people and isn't to large for smaller scenario groups, I believe there were 80 people the day I went. The woods field is varied in type, sparse woods, grass, thick woods, thin woods, and several dirt mounds and berms. There was also a large pallet field that played well. The hyper field was large flat, and played well. The airball field was also good sized, flat, and played well. They had plenty of covered benches and staging areas. The one upgrade I would like to see would be 4500 psi HPA fills.

X-Plex is not a well run field for anyone wanting to play hardcore paintball!!! My few visits to this field has resulted in total frustration. There lack of organization is scary. There ia a man there in a HILL PLUMBING van that drinks beer all day and runs the games. The refs aren't old enough to drive, and would rather talk than run games. One time we played 5 games all day. If you have your own refs or don't need them, the field is ok. You will need to bring your own blowers to air up the air ball field, because no one takes care of that as the day goes on. The new air system they have will only air up your tanks to 3100psi. because they wont buy a good system. They store the paint in a hot tin shed so bring your own paint. The last big scenario game they had 4 of the refs were out land surfing on a plastic disc behind a golf cart instead of reffing the games... The field is more like a child drop off daycare than a paintball field. Don't worry about playing against any hardcore ballers there( there are none ). The average age on a weekend is around 12 and they talk like drunk sailors!!! That is not a place I will take my kids or family again.

I'm a ref at X-Plex and can awnser to some of your complaints. No I'm not one of the younger refs you desribe as well.
1. I know the reffing thing has been out of hand, but the owners look for about anyone who is willing to show up. There is no real requirements to become one you just gotta pretty much show up and thats it.
2. We fill at 3000 to make it easier on filling tanks so noone would happen to overfill a rental tank. You'll see the majority of the rental tanks are 3000 PSI tanks and not 4500 PSI tanks. If I'm correct the new system can fill to 4500 but the owners thought it'd be best to keep it at 3000 PSI fills.
3. The Airball field is a mess due to the fact that its an old set of bunkers. They get old and sooner or later they go to hell and its a pain to refill them mutiple times aday. Though X-Plex is in the process of getting a new X-Ball field.
