Well I have been playing at this field for just over a year. It has been a good year to be there as they have gone under some changes for the better.
Overall I have had a really good time playing there. The staff are top notch, helpful and friendly. The reffing is good and safety is always strongly maintained and enforced. There is very limited downtime between games. There is a large number of different games played and none of them last for more than 5 minutes which ensures a quick turn around if you get taken out early.
A worthy note that needs to be made is on the quality of experienced players there. On Firday night the players are largely made up of more experienced players and owners. Though the owners go pretty hard on each other they do take it easier on the new players and renters. How much would you like it if your first time out playing you were shot ten times in a row? Right.
According to their website The Paintball Arena will be opening a new field in the near future. They haven't said when yet, but it is going to be a speedball field where the paint is cheap and the electros will be allowed all the time. I'm looking forward to it!
The upside:
They got rid of the gravel !!!!!!! Yay! Since that it seems that they are cleaning their field more often. In the world of paintball it is a really clean field.
They filled in the back right corner with a castle. For those who have played there you know what I am talking about. No more chairs and caution tape.
Did I mention that they got rid of the gravel?
The memberships are also valid at OuterLimits outdoor paintball.
The downside:
The only night that they allow electro-markers is Friday night. Which means that the only day of the week I can go is Friday. This will be remedied when they open their speedball field.
There is a little proshop, even though it sounds like a larger one. If I stuck a price tag on my personal stash of equipment I would have a bigger "proshop".
90 paintballs in a bag? On the website it says that they fit in the hopper better. Ok... but they are still charging what everyone else charges for 100.
