High Viegh
Review: So i mostly play here on fridays cause thats the only day people are there to play with, and from what i have experened its a pritty bad place compared to the other places
Here are some reasons:

Safty: They safty is actuly decent, other then the fact that reffs will yell at people to put a mask on as they are standing there with no mask, also the fact that the reffs play when they should be watching the games, oh and cant forget how onetime i saw a reff shooting kids and they other reffs threw the holes that are in the net, that is suposed to protect the people behind it.

Fields: The field is really small, but on most nights they will use the "L" shape

Hours: on fridays they are pritty good 4-11

Price: $25 for 1 session, $30 for both and $45 - $80 for paint

Rules: dont really matter except for the mask that seems to not apply to the staff, and bunkering that also dosnt apply to the staff

Proshop: Only good thing about this field alot of stuff pritty much anything you need

Staff: some of the staff is pritty cool, like the guys that check you in, but others kinda suck, like the fat guy at the airfill, hes a d**k, ive seen him hit some of the reffs with swabs, and also some customers, ive also heard him curse at customers and give kids a hard time, like if a newer kid dosnt know why his gun isnt working that guy, thats getting paid to fix the guns there, wont

Refs: Wow worst part of this field, so here are why the reffs are bad
1. they play when they should be working
2. curse at the players
3. shoot players
Now if you play on a friday night and your high tech you probly know what im talking about when i say your lucky to play 3 games te whole night
when you finaly get on the field there is this one reff that always takes his time makeing the teams, he does Lowtech players on one side , then high tech and the other side of him and then the "tournament players" all 3 of them, then he takes his time splitting them up and makeing all of us wait
also last friday, when i was playing one of the last hightech games i saw that same reff almost get in a fight with a player, just remember too thats just one reff
i have also seen a reff with a promaster shooting threw the net at kids, i have seen another reff play

Players: what can i say some are good some are bad

Facilities: good luck trying to use the bathroom if your a guy, there is no lock on the door that just flies open

Food: actuly really good, the pizza place takes a lil long but its good food

all and all good luck playing here when the fat guy at the air station takes forever to fill your take, the reffs, suck at makeing fair teams, dont make calls, dont do anything at all

if you wana have a bad time playing paintball go to arena

1) Where's your proper grammar, and spelling. How can one expect to just read your stuff when it sounds like my niece typed it.
2) Your talking about Friday night, one night out of seven. Yeah SEVEN. S.E.V.E.N days so of course one day's review isn't enough.
3) What other evidence do you have that the refs curse at players, play, and shoot them. Is it really believable without proof.
4) (¨_¨)

No, he's totally right, everythign he said is 10000% true. Honestly, this place is the most poorly run joint around, but I will admit I've only gone on Fridays and Thursdays, the two busiest nights. However, the say doesn't change the fact that everyone in the staff (other than maybe 2 guys) is a complete jerk, especially the air fill guys, who, like he said, basically get paid to sit around and trash talk kids that come up and need help with guns.

Need I offer a story? I could write a novel, but here we go: My friend just got a new Wrath (back when they first came out) and just needed an air fill or something small. So he goes up, asks for a fill, and the one "large" guy there spells out J-U-N-K while looking at his gun and starts laughing. Is that supposed to keep customers coming back and make them feel at home? Why isn't this guy fired yet?! He's always stuffing his face full of meatballs and talking trash, and he never even helps you out. If you want a co2 fill (which you, who PAID for unlimited fills, have the right to), this guy shakes the tank and throws it back at you, saying you have too much air left. It's like giving out air costs him money, or meatballs or something.

The "good players," AKA the kids that worship all the refs and techs and have their daddies buy them 2000 dollar guns once every few months, are always treated the way ALL players should be treated. Let's offer a comparison: HiVi indoors. Just went there a few weeks ago, and my oh my, what a difference! The one guy that runs everything, James, is probably the nicest guy on Earth, let alone the paintball industry. He always tries to help you with anything you need help with, asks how things are going and if anything's wrong, and all the other guys there do too.

Basically, I'm suprised Arena hasn't been A) Closed down because people realize how much its actually sucks B) Reformed so that people actually ENJOY playing there or C) Taken over in a glorious revolution one friday night by the fed-up players

The sad truth is that there's really nowhere else to go on Long Island, other than HiVi which isn't that well-known to newer or casual players, and Cousin's which I've never gone to personally but I hear it's not so great. The reason Arena stays open is because most of the players have never been anywhere else, and they don't have too much of a choice but to keep going there. Sure, they could go to HiVi or Cousin's, but it took me and my friends a good few months to get tired enough of Arena to do that. You put up with it for a while, but once they do something like split the friday session or some other stupid money-making scheme, it just pushes you over the edge.

He has complete proof of everything he said, and I an hundreds of others can testify to that.

Wow, i have gone to this field longer then this guy, and he's wrong

The refs although sometimes dont make all the great calls they dont curse or shoot random players

As for playing with them, sometimes they play with higher tech players, if they r ok with it

Poorly written as the review was, I agree with him.

I too could write a novel about my experience- so what, he only went on one day. Hell, I went once, and the experience was bad enough to make me never want to go back, and to advise others to do the same.

The refs aren't. The teams they make are typically awful. And the rest of the staff is generally hostile. How they accumulate business, I have no clue.

And the big kicker? Their field is awful. If ever I wanted a picture perfect simulation of what playing in a bog would be like, I'd go to arena.

The vast majority of people I know can testify to this. Anyone who's ever been to Hi-Vi, Cousins, Obnoxious, or even NYC paintball can attest to how crappy arena is when measured against them.
