I used to really enjoy coming to this field, untill the one day i booked a private game. First off we didn't get to fit that many games in, I don't have the slightest clue why. Just didn't happen. But that happens and that I was okay with that. The rental guns seemed lacking and often had to be exchanged for guns that worked. . Fields were not too bad but honestly I enjoyed Badlandz fields much better. But the main reason i write this, and what really pushed me away from this place, was that as we were checking out and my buddies were returning all the rentals, the woman in charge of recieving rental equipment accused me of not returning a gun. Since the private game was in my name I had to come up with the gun, even after i made sure everyone returned it. I ended up staying there for 45 minutes after they closed trying to convince this lady that we didn't have the gun. It REALLY upset me. She refused to give my driver's license back. Eventually after i stormed out of the office my freinds came back with my license. I haven't been back since.
We are really sorry that you had a bad experience at Fox Paintball. We work extremely hard to try and make sure that never happens. However sometimes it does because we are not perfect and we can make mistakes. We are humble enough to admit when we make mistakes and if you take the time to tell us about it while you are there we will be more than happy to try and make things right. Unfortunately you never voiced your concerns during the day of your event....whenever that was, the date you posted has not happened yet..November is a few months away...and since you didn't here was no way for us to know anything was wrong. Sometimes our staff is on the ball and sometimes they will slack a bit...if a customer lets us know they are "slow" we will make sure that they get on the ball again. We do try and maintain the rental equipment and make sure everyone is issued a proper gun. Many times players are switching guns out because they have broken paintballs in the gun. Sometimes this does happen and we swap guns. As far as the "lost equipment" goes it's hard to say what happened there without directly being there to witness the situation. We do hold a license for the equipment and if it is not turned in correctly then we do have to find the equipment. Mos of the time this problem is created when someone in a group sets their equipment down "somewhere or anywhere" and simply leaves. They do not "check out" in the proper method by turning the rental equipment into the registration staff so they can mark off the items as checked in. This does and will create a problem if you are the person that guaranteed the equipment. Honestly the best way to avoid that situation is to make each person who rents responsible for their own equipment. You took responsibility and someone else in your group was not responsible and stuck you with the problem. The reason you had to stay, was because we had to wait until all equipment was in and find out for sure that we had the equipment that was abandoned by another player in the group. It is not a fun situation to be in for us or you, but at least the equipment was there after all.
We really wish that you would take the time to address us directly with your situation. Fox Paintball has been around for 17 years. We are one of the oldest operating fields in the country and we survive by taking care of our customers. When we lose even just one customer because they are unhappy with our service it make us just as upset as you are. We do not want to lose you or any customer. We are in the business of providing fun! We want you to have fun and want to come back. I hope anyone that reads this and I hope you the person that posted this review understand the importance of telling us about your problem with our service. We WANT to hear from you if it is bad. If you don't tell us about our mistakes we cannot learn from them.
