docdeath Monday, April 16th, 2007 Period of Field Use: 3 years Last There: April 14th, 2007 Paintball Experience: More than 5 years Other Fields in the Area: Skirmish=really expensive and not friendly OTP=nice guys prices kinda the same alot smaller than TopGun Fireball Mountain=don't get me started Cosins/Pinelands=when i was there it was empty Directions to the Field: yahoo directions Or if you know where Six Flags Great Adventure is go next door to it and there is TopGun Review: As you can tell I love this field. They are always improving there fields and creating new ones so you are not always playing on the same ones. The paint is a high end paint so that means less breaks. It is field paint only but you have to account for all the things they have. It comes down to the old saying you get what you pay for and Top Gun is worth it. They have a acre big fort they call The Alamo which they run a big game on in august and another fort called Lucky Hill which is like a giant maze inside. They also have a new oil rig field with a huge oil rig that stands like 20 feet tall also they just redid the Jurassic Park playing field and are still redoing others. The refs there are actual players so they understand the sport and help out the players. They run a very organized show and makes sure everyone has a good day. Anytime you play there you will see the owner Carl and Carl Jr going around and asking what people think and ask for suggestions to improve their costumers experience. They truly love the sport and are really spokesmen for it. I give this field an A+ from the friendly staff and Owners to the fields always improving. If you are a beginner or a high end player Top Gun should be on your list of fields to play.

You know, the dude that spent around $100,000.in lawyers fees and 10 years in the courts to get paintball leagalized in NJ? Has Mr. Gong sold out? Can't say I'd blame him. Anyone have any input on this? How can the "Father of Paintball in NJ" sell out and disappear without a whisper on the web? Or maybe this is just a comment on how far paintball in NJ has degraded in the past 18 years... that a HERO like Ray Gong can disappear overnight and someone called: "Carl" can assume ownership of "TOP GUN". You know... sometimes I have to wonder.. the the frag is wrong with the human race?
